Who was Elphaba and where did she start out from and as? Well Elphaba was one of the two daughters of the King of Munchcun Land. How did she become green?! Well, it all started when her mother was pregnant with her, but instead of loving Elphaba’s origanal father she was in love with…you guessed it… the Wizard… but he wasn’t the Wizard yet! The Wizard gave Elphaba’s mom a green elixer not suspecting anything would happen, but instead it turned Elphaba green! Elphaba is a kind person, she is just misunderstood because of her colour of skin. So, since she is made fun of she acts as if none of the rude comments bother her… even though they do.
Elphaba has some very unusual talents…. like when-ever she gets mad everything shakes!! ( just imagine how hard it is to try and stay calm!! :-0) Also she was able to cast spells! When she first was with the Wizard he showed her a spell book and said that not even himself knew how to read it…yet…(yes there is a “yet”) Elphaba was able to without any trouble!! Of course she had no idea what the spells would do when she first learned them, so what happened as she read that first spell it turned all of the Wizard’s monkey’s into… FLYING MONKEY’S!!!! (sounds fimilar right?!) But, Elphaba loved animals and was ashambed of herself for casting that spell to harm those animals. She ran away and even though Glinda tried to stop her she decided to…. go and DEFY GRAVITY!! (yes by that i meen that she was going to FLY!!) From then on she was know as the Wicked Witch because she was completely different…how sad…………no really i really meen HOW SAD!!??
